Alternatively for those on single player, or hosting, the Build and Repair Nanobots mod replaces the need for printers. +No welders needed, +storage space is based on your base cargo +Scripts are available to automatically cue up any components needed +No worries about potentially missed blocks -they can be slow, but having multiples solves this issue. -a little set-up is necessary, I recommend picking a color you know you'll never use and set that as your grind color. Also disable neutral and hotel grinding if you plan to commandeer enemy ships.

The rail gun is an amazing weapon and very great for combat HOWEVER, almost everyone who loves it because big gun go BRRRRR fail to realize it's significant limitations and especially any craft or feet's need to have a diversity of weapons. The rail gun is the best battleship cannon we have in the game but in WW2 in the pacific theatre America learned that battleships aren't super great when ship to ship combat largely focused on planes. This video is 2 years old now and I think we have seen just that. We aren't using ships to fight other ships anymore in space engineers; we are using small, fast, and cheap drones on by sheer quantity

Just started this scenario... Good to know that claiming the garage and starting mining & construction operations isn't overkill lol

I was kinda confused on how it worked when i first found it in the crafting menu, and tried building one on my own base and saw that nothing came up. I get now that you go to stations to pick up contracts and sell, and you build it on your own station to create contracts (not sure) and buy. Neat!

I usually just used Build Planner to gather the materials I need by hand and than mass deposit them in the welder ship. I also just used multiple spread out welders on the ship. At least I'm pretty sure I did, it's been months since I went back on SE. Also still very new to the game

i dont like the new UI for adding mods into your worlds, it dosnt show all the mods i have subbed too, even after clicking through all the tabs

Landing gear need to be stronger. Im tired of bumping into things at sub 1m/s speeds and my landing gear crumpling like wet paper in a blender.

My only complaint about the build planner is that you have to look in the G menu to see it. Maybe there is a mod that adds the buildplanner list to the HUD on the right.

Hovercraft are fairly energy efficient if you're willing to risk turning off dampeners.

i think this could possibly be a new thruster that works in space and atmosphere. if the theory is correct about the sterolith and a civilization left mars. it would seem right they would of had engines that work in both space and atmospheric enviroments. just a theory but we will have to see. maybe a new power source aswell derived from the new ores spoken about.

Gotta wonder now if a suitable counterweight on the arms other side wold have made a noticable difference.

when you get to 1067m/s, you should turn off power on your drone, and see what happens, turning the power off stop the auto dampener from activating, so you shouldn't slow faster than G would dictate

Did this 11 years ago xD Multiple rotors didn't work then, they just shared and divided spinning speed between them, without exceeding maximum of a single rotor

Almost at the point of having long range manual controled drones...

Use a counterweight on the opposite side of the rotor setup as if you're making a propellor. That way your build is balanced.

1067.5 has long been established as the hard cap for any type of grid in the game, unless you mod the game
